Here’s what our ’virtual’s attendees have to say about the courses.

  • The course was excellent, The virtual presentation worked very well. Enjoyed the course very much!
  • Thanks for the fantastic course!
  • I really enjoyed all of Dr. Ferringer’s lectures and thought her multichoice quiz questions were a great addition and tested your knowledge on the spot. Thanks again for providing a great program, if I can’t attend in person next year I will definitely do another course online!
  • I have to admit it wasn’t quite the same as being in Hawaii (!), but the lectures were still of high quality. With few options for CME activities currently I appreciate the efforts made to get this online.
  • Great course and one of the best I’ve attended!
  • Thank you for organizing this course - the speakers and lectures were all excellent.
  • Thanks for putting together this very informative dermatopathology symposium; practical, contemporary and very useful lectures; very good faculty, presentations (as always)
  • I really enjoyed both courses and I learned a lot. Thanks for providing this to us by virtual means. I hope next time we can meet you and all the faculty in a beautiful city (San Diego, Hawaii, etc.).
  • Thank you for a great session. Looking forward to future years in Hawaii! That was an excellent course - really enjoyed it!
  • Aloha! Hope that you and yours are doing well and staying safe! I really enjoyed the online format.
  • Excellent course as usual. I hope you provide some more online courses next year.
  • Thank you for a most educational conference – the speakers were excellent. Rainy Melbourne Australia was not quite as nice a venue as intended, but was happy to be able to do such a great course under the circumstances.

our attendees say

  • Very much enjoyed the experience.

  • This is the best course ever! I highly recommend the 5-hour program to give you time to see the beautiful island. I will definitely come back! Please make sure you keep this location. I love, love, love it!

  • The review is always helpful and then when you add new information, it can only be beneficial.

  • Continue to do what you're doing - Recruit speakers who can give practical updates to major issues of surgical pathology

  • I have consistently come away with new ideas or knowledge, even as a specialist in the fields being discussed. I have saved the handouts over the years, and find myself referring to them often.

  • The topics were well chosen; very timely and practical. The speakers gave extremely good presentations. It could not have been better. An added bonus, the golf courses were wide open!

  • The organizers do a great job making sure the experience is hassle-free and also make sure that the emphasis is on practical pathology.

  • The intimate environment and extended faculty presence over four or five days of every course provides the perfect setting for a very enjoyable and enlightening interchange of ideas and discussion of issues.

  • The Scientific Symposiums International courses consistently feature very high quality faculty whose lectures are specifically attuned to the practical needs of the general surgical pathologist.

  • The knowledge acquired will improve my performance, especially in neuropathology.

  • These courses are great. They're designed to cover specialty topics with both general reviews and advanced updates, thereby meeting the educational needs of attendees with quite varied backgrounds.

  • As someone who has been involved in numerous courses over the years an associated with a number of different organizations, I can honestly say that I enjoy the Scientific Symposiums International courses the most.

  • I arrived home relaxed and ready to get to work rather than exhausted with a bad case of information overload. The 5-hour format with time to recuperate in the Hawaiian sun is recommended and I will definitely be back!

  • The Scientific Symposiums International courses consistently feature very high quality faculty whose lectures are specifically attuned to the practical needs of the general surgical pathologist.

  • The courses I have participated in all included prominent faculty who can teach “the rules” because often times they wrote “the rules”.

  • The organizers do a great job making sure the experience is hassle-free and also make sure that the emphasis is on practical pathology.
