Dr. Dighe received his BS degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his MD and his PhD in immunology from the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO. He took his residency training in pathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is Assistant Professor of pathology at the Harvard Medical School and Assistant Pathologist in the Department of Pathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior to his residency training, he was the Program Manager in Oncology for Vital clinical Software in Waltham, MA., managing the design and development of a comprehensive clinical information system for oncology, supported by a National Institutes of Standards and Technology(NIST) grant. His primary research interests include: the application of information technology to improve diagnostic test selection and interpretation, and the role of cytokines and related endocrine hormones in the development of endocrine neoplasia.
