Dr. Centeno received her BA degree from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida and her MD degree from John Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland. She took her residency training in Anatomic Pathology and a fellowship in Cytopathology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. She is Professor of Pathology in the College of Medicine, University of South Florida and Director of the Cytopathology Laboratory at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Tampa, Florida. Dr. Centeno is also Director of the Cytopathology Fellowship program in the Department of Pathology & Cell Biology at the University of South Florida School of Medicine.
