Lorenzo Cerroni, M.D. received his M.D. degree and his residency training in Dermatology and Venereology at the University La Sapienza in Rome, Italy. He has been a visiting fellow in Dermatopathology at St. Johns Hospital for Skin Diseases in London, New York University School of Medicine, Division of Dermatopathology in New York, and the John Radcliffe Hospital Neuffield Department of Pathology in Oxford. Dr. Cerroni is Associate Professor of Dermatology and Venereology at the University of Graz, Austria. He is Assistant Editor of Dermatology, and serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, American Journal of Dermatopathology and Actas de Dermatologia & Dermatopathologi. He has published over 250 scientific papers and is a co-author of four dermatopathology texts.
