• Residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and a Fellowship in Surgical Pathology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN
• A Fellowship in Dermatopathology at Harvard at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.
• Currently Associate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, MN
• Pathology Research Chair of the North Central Cancer Treatment Group.
• Clinical and research interests are in Surgical Pathology, Dermatopathology and Endocrine Pathology
• Senior Associate Editor of the journal Human Pathology and serves on the editorial boards of a number of medical journals
